With parents and grandparents in the real estate investment and development arenas, Jana grew up working on family-owned multifamily properties. She began working independently in multifamily property management in 1993 for several complexes in the Alamo Heights submarket of San Antonio. She continued property management as an onsite community manager while at Baylor University in Waco, TX, from 1996-2000, where she graduated with a BBA in Real Estate (Commercial Focus) and a second BBA in Economics. She also holds advanced graduate degrees in business management from studies abroad.
In 2000, Jana expanded from property management to commercial real estate brokerage. She holds an active Texas Real Estate Broker License today and has completed CCIM education. In 2002, Jana developed her first commercial investment project as a private investor. Since 2012, Jana has constructed over nine million square feet of lease space and managed an asset portfolio consisting of 1.2 million square feet and 257 tenants. Her personal investment portfolios have included multifamily and industrial properties, with a focus on value-add and build-to-suit projects.
